A Visitor

A Perthian (Stephan) who was also on student exchange came to visit me and see a little bit of turin, for the weekend. It was really nice having him here, someone who could speak english but he also helped me with more italian and forced me in a way to speak more italian, which has helped alot, THANKS STEPHAN!

So with my family we visited Venaria Reale gardens. It was a lovely sunny day, just walking around, eating sandwiches, play games, sitting in curved stones, seeing these strange square umbrellas everyone had, saw you could hire them, thinking of stealing it, then seeing you can buy them.

Families

So straight after that holiday finished, i had a couple of days to finish packing and move to my next host family. With Student Exchange Australia they have the students staying for 10 months stay with two or more families. So i went from one side of Torino (Alpignano) to the opposite side (Chieri).

Also to make things even more hectic, after two days of being in my new family THEY took me on a holidays, to Caorle, which is somewhat near Venice. That was one of my favourite holidays, because:
-we went to the beach almost every day
-we went to this amusement park
-I really bonded with my family
-I got tan lines :D
-I met a boy
-did i mention we lived at the beach!

Before we arrived though we visited a place called Trieste with one of their friends, Bruna. It was really hot and we were all really tired from the long car trip. Though the gardens were so lovely it is on the list of places i want to have my wedding photos haha.

i'll try narrow it to a few.

He came all the way from australia :)

PIsa

We visited Pisa for the afternoon, solely to be tourists and visit the leaning tower of pisa. I also got an I <3 Pisa tshirt, sorta been collecting them everywhere i go. so far i have Rome, NY, Pisa, London, Paris and Venice.

It was actually really funny watching people taking the 'holding up the tower' or 'hugging it'. Must admit i tried to be original at one point.

The T-shirts Francesca and Maria made me for me and them.

Cinque Terre

This was my second and last holiday with this family. They took me to Cinque Terre (in english means literally 5 lands). It was the most beautiful spot, i can't wait to go back. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
